The new version of Charts&Tides for iOS7 has made its debut, offering users access to a variety of features such as charts, tides, ActiveCaptain information, GPS navigation, and more, all encompassed within an elegantly designed interface. This tool can be utilized for both pre-trip planning from the comfort of one's home and for on-the-water navigation.

Charts&Tides prides itself on its user-friendly design, featuring an intuitive interface and streamlined tasks. A notable advantage is the elimination of the need to individually download, store, or manage charts within the software, as it conveniently integrates comprehensive large area charts sourced from multiple reputable entities.

 <li>Offline storage of the complete ActiveCaptain database ensures continuous access even without an Internet connection.</li>
 <li>Effortless searching of numerous chart features and the ActiveCaptain database directly from the app.</li>
 <li>Supports waypoints, routes, tracks, and allows importing and exporting in GPX format. Automatic sequencing of waypoints during route navigation is also available.</li>
 <li>Offers various navigation options including built-in GPS functionality, connection to external GPS via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and dead reckoning mode.</li>
 <li>Compatibility with external AIS devices and facilitates Closest Point of Approach (CPA) calculations.</li>
 <li>Features a dark UI suitable for daylight use while preserving night vision in darker conditions.</li>

The software includes a world base map but does not ship with detailed marine charts. Users have the option to purchase detailed marine charts directly within the application or utilize the software without additional purchases if needed.
